Halloween Witch! Beginner Hand Embroidery Pattern
Add a little stitching magic to Halloween with Halloween Witch!, a sweet and whimsical embroidery pattern featuring a cheerful, grandmotherly witch who is much more charming than spooky.
Dressed in her wonderfully floppy witch’s hat and old-fashioned dress, our friendly witch carries her favorite books in one arm and a plump autumn pumpkin in the other. She is surrounded by fall leaves, berries, another pumpkin, a little bird, and her adorable kitty companion. Tiny stars, a crescent moon, bows, and other playful details give the design just the right touch of Halloween magic.
This pattern was created especially for beginning embroiderers. The design relies primarily on simple outlines with very little fill work, so you can enjoy all of the character and detail without hours of complicated stitching. The suggested palette of pumpkin orange, witchy purple, leafy green, warm brown, and berry red looks beautiful on natural or cream fabric.
Finish your witch in a rustic frame for Halloween decorating, or use the design for a pillow, wall hanging, table runner, project bag, or handmade seasonal gift.
